This beachside sanctuary in the bustle of Glenelg South is warm and tactile, with a layering of rich textural detail.

A robust crazy pave limestone base allows a podium for the kitchen program to envelop, surrounded by an American Oak parquetry floor. A datum of vertical Tasmanian Oak dowels wrap the central island, capped by a natural stone surface. The natural stone pulls detail from surrounding materials in the project. Veins of browns and yellows capture the gradient expressed in the timber above, whilst pinks, blues and greys offset to create a mild aesthetic complimentary to the total project outcomes.
