Embedded in a bold heritage context of the suburban city fringe village of Rose Park, CRU alteration links a series of well established interior volumes subtly shifting the tactile materiality, tonal and textural emergence of heritage proportion to a seamless interaction of modern layering and compositional spaces to the rear.

Monochromatic tones are emphasised and intentionally contrasted with natural tactile stones and timbers, effortlessly attempting to connect to its period and endurance of its heritage necessities. A series of large steel apertures define the thresholds from internal to external with the ability to be blurred and connected to the new outdoor volume. A relaxed and elegant interior/exterior merges old to new, providing an enduring collective of warm light filled spaces to enjoy with family and friends/
